I designed this simple modern leaf pattern in my Brooklyn studio. 

The fabric for this pillow is woven by a family business of weavers in Hyderabad. The pillow is sewn by our partner women’s empowerment organization in India.

Ikat fabric is a laborious and intricate craft whereby artisans tie and dye warp (yarns on a loom) threads to create the pattern, then weave fabric by hand on the loom.
